Charles Wall is the last man on the right, sitting down. Corona's first large hotel, built about 1888 by A.S. Garretson. Cost about $15,000. R.B. Taylor, the leader on the founding of the colony, stands apart on the left. The hotel operated for many years by O.A. Smith, and burned down in 1899. |
