Medallion on Ribbon - Metal/Cloth

This artifact is a gold colored medallion attached to a red, white, and blue ribbon to wear around the neck. On the outer edge of the medallion has a laural wreath design on both sides. Dark blue text around the center shield and inside the laural wreath design reads: "League of United Latin American Citizens - 1929." In the center of the medallion is a shield with the initials, "L.U.L.A.C." going diagonally across the front. Gold stars on a blue field make up the upper right portion of the shield while, red and white stripes the lower left side of the shield. On the back of the medallion is the following text: "AL LOPEZ - 1988" The ribbon measures 15 1/4" in length and the medallion measures 1 3/4".
