Abstract/Description: | This artifact is a striped, red and yellow megaphone with a charging panther (animal drawing) and the word "Barb" in yellow. The megaphone was used by the Corona High School cheerleaders c. 1960-61. This is one of five megaphones used by the cheerleading squad. This megaphone measures 36 1/2" (L), and the cone measures 2 1/2" (at the mouth) to 12 1/2" and the opening on the other end. |
