Military Helmet - Metal/Cloth

This artifact is an army helmet owned by Police Chief Joe Greer.  It was used by Chief Greer during World War II for protection from bullets and other dangers.  The helmet is made of steel and has a cloth strap.  It is khaki green in color and measures 11" x 9" x 7".  The rim diameter is 32" DONOR'S REMARKS:  This helmet was given by Judy Greer, the widow of Chief Joe Greer.
