This artifact is a silver medal with an attached bar and chain. The bar has been inscribed with the following words: "South'n Cal. Div. L.A.W., Los Angeles, July 4, '99. A bicyclist is pictured in the center of the medal." This medal is in a purple case. Donor's Remarks: This medal was awarded to Arther Taber, Bicyclist, as second prize in the two-mile championship. Albert Taber, brother of Mabel Taber Farmer, and the uncle of Albert Farmer, owned a bicycle shop in So. Riverside (Corona)., CONDITION: The medal case is in disrepair; however, the medal is in excellent condition.
