The lead headline, 4 MEN IDENTIFY BARRERE AS HIKER. Herman H. Barrer, was a suspect sought in the Baker murder case. On page 4 there is a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" photo with short caption of Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd receiving a gold medallion. The newspaper features other international, national, and local news and advertising. PAGES: 8 (consecutive), MEASUREMENTS: 21 1/2" X 17", CONDITION: There is some browning and brittleness to the newsprint. There is more of a darkening of the newsprint at the center fold line.
