Post Card Album - Front

This postcard album was donated to the Heritage Room by W. Manley Dean in 1985. The inscription in the postcard album reads: "This album filled with California views sent to me by my son Walter Manley Dean is for my dear granddaughter, Elise Overall Dean. When I am gone, for her to treasure for her little boy or girl. Elisabeth Pope Dean, August 1916." The album contains 94 postcards, many from California towns and other states such as Arizona and New Mexico. Of these, 50 postcards show scenes of Corona, photos of homes or Corona residents. Using a personal photo to create a postcard was common at the time.
